LIL ONES is a company specialised in the manufacture of strollers for babies and also
for twins. It develops products under its own brand BABY MONSTERS since 2009 and it
distributes, for the Iberian and French markets, labels such as COSATTO, SUMMER INFANT
or RYCO.
Regarding its international presence, the company exports their references to more than
20 countries in four continents, and the 42,46% of its invoicing belongs to the international
territory. Besides, the company participates in different specialised trade fairs and uses so-
cial networks in order to generate demand from the public in those countries where it is still
not playing, because the objective of LIL ONES is to increase international sales, and sell its
products in one or two new countries per year.
In regards to the participation of the company at the trade fair Kind + Jugend, were they
will present novelties such as a travel system and a new stroller, from the company they
detail that “doubtlessly, it is the most important trade fair in Europe, because it allows us to
see our European distributors and the most interesting customers from the South of Europe
in a single space. There we know the trends, we talk with other brands and we consolidate
our brand at the same time”. Moreover, LIL ONES exhibits in fairs of Shanghai, Madrid, Paris
or Poland with the aim of adjust the different local markets. As for the trends on the market,
they talk about aspects such as lightness and compactness of products.

MICUNA is specialized in the design and manufacture of baby cribs and furniture,
whose product range aims to meet all the needs of children’s furniture: from cots and
complete rooms, to highchairs or rocking chairs. Even though it’s a Spanish production
company, the brand has a worldwide presence; with 30% of its sales in international
markets distributed between Russia, Asia, Europe and the USA.
In terms of the company’s goals for its internationalization plans, the company stands
out its establishment in the USA, its commitment to a significant presence in Russia,
and “the prospects of continuing our growth within of the high-end niche in countries
such as France, Italy, Germany and other markets such as Australian or Asian”. In this
sense, Kind + Jugend “is the most important meeting point with our worldwide custo-
mers and suppliers”, as they say. Meanwhile, they’re also attending to other professional
fairs such as Puericultura Madrid or Habitat Valencia, both in Spain.
In addition, MICUNA identifies three international trends. First, from the company it’s
mentioned that “the nordic trend continues with combined furniture in white and natural
woods, simple and elegant lines. As for the product, the eco-friendly tendency is impo-
sed: responsible with the environment and the baby’s health; while we are witnessing a
boom in the technological product”.
