The proposal
The solution which devised Jungheinrich consisted of a change in the way of working of Unide and the arrangement of shelves, towards a solution of storage in compact dealt with two heads Dis at higher levels. A tunnel for the realization of 'picking' which is supplied through shelves of roller gravity on the lower level houses. In total the supply consists of 70 forklifts, seven heads Dis and racks for 5.660 pallets in Dis and 1,030 pallets in dynamic.
More than 70 trucks, all of them of Jungheinrich, make up the fleet of machines Unide goes to the logistics platform for the transport, handling and storage of such a high amount of palletizing product. The fleet consists of: forty preparadoras of ECE 220 horizontal orders; Sixteen shrink ETV 216, equipped with mast 740 DZ. Seven of them equipped with the system Dis ('Drive-In-System') of Jungheinrich; pallet eleven trucks electrical axis 220; three electric pallet trucks with Ere 220 platform and a front trolley EFG 316.
Unide working with the Dis for high rotation system and conventional storage in areas of low and medium rotation. The company has seven devices Dis (System load autonomous system of Drive-In in shrink). The application of the Dis system to high turnover has meant an increase in the total storage of 10% capacity.
Unide also has racks for 5.660 pallets in Dis and 1,030 pallets to dynamic. Design separates the operations of replenishment and 'picking'. Processes are now safe and faster, and also the costs have been reduced by bottlenecks, accidents and breakage of stock.
On a plot of 70,000 square meters, Unide has 25,000 square meters of warehouse, in a rectangular nave with 11.5 meters in height. It is a traditional platform in distribution, with 14 docks for receipt and consignment of goods 36 faced. To minimize the routes they enjoy a generous beach of expeditions.
The 7,300 references and nearly 20,000 pallets are managed without papers, by SGA connected by radio frequency terminals and readers of barcode installed on trucks.
