Jacobo Bermejo: “The austerity and the fault of consumption are killing to the sector of the graphic arts”

Bermejo Alerted that the graphic sector Spanish has lost 40.000 places of work from the 2008, and affirmed that “if the administrations continue only with the politics of austerity carried out up to now, and without undertaking measures of stimulus, no only will not reactivate the economy but it will aggravate the situation of paralización, and this will bring consequences very grave for the employment”.
In spite of everything, the president of the AEAGG ensured to be “proud to chair a sector that has erigido thanks to the effort emprendedor of employers like which conform our Association, that have contributed during a lot of years to generate wealth and employment and to create a solid productive fabric in Galicia”.
A recognition to the graphic work
The association wanted to recognise a year more the work of five companies associated with a long path in the graphic sector Galician. All the homenajeadas carry more than 25 years settled in the Galician community.
In this occasion, the recognition was for the following five companies:
- Prelo, of Lugo (1980)
- Graphic Garabal, of Santiago de Compostela (1981)
- Tórculo Graphic Arts, of Santiago de Compostela (1982)
- Grafisant, of Santiago de Compostela (1984)
- Graphic Ibernón, of Vigo (1986)
The act took place in the museum Mark of Vigo and was chaired by Jacobo Bermejo, president of the AEAGG; Carlos López Font, second deputy mayor of the City council of Vigo; Santos Héctor Rodríguez, councillor of Citizen Participation, Employment and Economic Promotion of the City council of Vigo; Carlos Docampo and Eladio Durán, vice-president and treasurer of the directive of the Association, respectively.
Once finalised the act, the assistants enjoyed of the traditional food of confraternity in the restaurant of the Frame, and finished the festive day visiting the Archaeologic Centre Salinae.
