Alimentary does echo of the commitment of 200 cellars with the self-evident 'Wineries for Climate Protection'

Already they are 200 the number of cellars adhered to the self-evident 'Wineries for Climate Protection', reaffirming his commitment in the protection of the environingingment. And like this they ratified it in the act that took place in the frame of Alimentary, organised by the impulsores of this movement the Spanish Federation of the Wine and the foundation FIVIN-VIMAC in collaboration with Fira of Barcelona – Alimentary.

The presentation of the cellars adhered to 'Wineries for Climate Protection' was chaired by the Conseller of Agriculture, Ramadería, Fishing, Feeding and Half Natural of the Government of Catalonia, Josep Mª Pelegrí, accompanied by Josep Lluís Bonet, president of Fira of Barcelona, Miquel To. Torres, president of the Commission of Environingingment of the FEV, Pau Rock, general secretary of the FEV and Brave Sunday, general coordinator of 'Wineries for Climate Protection' and general secretary of FIVIN, and Ramon Fernández, general secretary of the European Committee of Wines.

In his intervention, the Conseller Pelegrí affirmed that it treats of the first initiative to world-wide level of all a sector in favour of the climate, a fact that contributes a value added and promotes the internationalisation of the sector vitivinícola. In this sense, manifested that by means of this presentation the industry of the wine wants to assume his part of responsibility in the problem of the global warming that is experiencing our planet.

The self-evident 'Wineries for Climate Protection' is favourable to the protection of the environingingment and to the sustainable production like source of competitiveness in the sector and involves to the companies so that they adapt to the new methods of production in accordance with this philosophy, fact that does them more competitive and allows them a better positioning in the national and international markets, as recalcó Brave Sunday, coordinator of this movement of the sector of the Spanish wine.

José Ramón Fernández communicated to the assistants that so much for the European Committee of Wines, that he represents, as for the sector vitivinícola European this movement is a referent and a model to be followed.

From the Spanish Federation of the Wine signalled , through his general secretary Pau Rock by delegation of his president, Félix Solís that the main employers of the sector vitivinícola have put of self-evident of clear and conclusive form a deep change of values, just in a moment that there is new divisas in the account of results, and for the bodegueros, everything does not measure in euros.
