Each European wastes 179 kilos of foods to the year

The report wants to include a double date clearly clear-cut: available and of consumption. Substituting to the current menajes that can confuse to the consumer like “consuming preferential before the”, “deadline” or “date of caducity”.
The report, approved by the European Parliament, proposes to expand the range of sizes of the containers of foods to adapt them better to the needs of the consumers and defends that the foods happened of available date, damaged or with worse appearance can be sold to prices reduced.
The Organisation of United Nations for the Agriculture and the Feeding (FAO) recommends to the distribution that bandage but cheap the foods that go to caducar in brief and that collaborate with the organisations of beneficencia so that they can collect and use products that would go to the rubbish, but that still are adapted from the point of view of the inocuidad, the flavour and the nutritious value.
To increase the social sensitisation against the waste of foods, the euro-deputies propose, besides, enter courses of alimentary education in all the levels of education. A proposal in which they coincide the industry, the food distribution and the FAO.
