Aidico will coordinate at the national level and will represent safety nets systems at European level
September 28, 2011
Note that the Institute is involved in two working groups: ' security networks. Minimum safety requirements. Methods of test ' and ' provisional border protection systems. Product specifications '. Both groups have equivalence at European level, to deal with technical standards in scope throughout the Union. In the case of Spain, Aidico represents and defends the decisions of the national group, which consists of important universities and technological centres of the country, as well as professional associations, construction companies, companies in implementation of safety and security features manufacturers.
The purpose of this active participation is the normalisation/normalization in Spain of a series of products of security, whose use is standardised/standardized in the works of construction of our geography: 'Networks of Security under Forged', 'Networks of Security of Vertical Closing', 'Protections for the terminaciones of armours/armors of steel in work' as well as 'Networks of Horizontal Security of small dimensions'. Like this they establish the minimum requirements of security and of quality that have to have these devices, to guarantee the suitable level of protection of the workers.
In recognition of this dedication to the improvement of these security features, was recently appointed responsible for the collective protection (elements of safety testing laboratory) media r & d Center of Aidico, Carlos Lozano, as Coordinator in Spain of the Working Group on security networks.
This recognition would not have been possible without the support of the Territorial Center of the Valencian Institute of safety and health at work (Invassat) of Alicante, and in particular to its director Gustavo Arcenegui Parreño, and technical Jose Saiz Nunez. Collaboration between both entities has been intense, as it has promoted and defended in recent years, both at European and national level, the need to unify and define the technical aspects, which must meet the 'provisional border protection systems' and 'Networks of security systems', so that they have the status of 'safe product' with greater rigour.
Like this, this committee formed by international experts has gathered already in Stockholm, Valencia, Paris or Rome with the object to harmonise/harmonize the requirements of security, taking into account the differences of the existent constructive processes in Europe. The next meeting of the European group will take place on 18 October in Berlin, where will defend the technical proposals Spaniards in matter of security.
