Valtra develops a new system of suspension of semi-active cabin for tractors
December 17, 2007
Valtra has developed AutoComfort, a system of suspension of semi-active cockpit that automatically adjusts to different driving circumstances. Such a system, distinguished in Fima 2008 as outstanding technical novelty, involves elements absorption controlled electronically, a position sensor and information on the status of driving through the CAN bus. For example, the CAN bus provides information on the position of the investor and the brakes, allowing the system to react to the rebounds.
Available in early 2008
The system can be adjusted in manual or automatic way in the side panel of the cockpit. Elements of suspension include tyres lungs to maintain a constant height regardless of load. The semi-active car suspension system is available optionally in early 2008, in the versions Hitech and Advance of models 151e to 191 of the Valtra T series. When you ask for a tractor with AutoComfort, Aires front bridge suspension will be an automatic control of height, which will improve the comfort in driving, minimising the use of the system of compressed air and antifreeze.
Improving the driving comfort is extremely important, because the T series is known by the contractors and large farms, which are directly affected by the Community directive of machines-borne vibration to the employees. AutoComfort helps customers of Valtra to reduce vibration levels. Even farmers who them does not affect this directive will appreciate the comfort improved.
The suspension of semi-active cabin AutoComfort received the silver medal for innovation in the last edition of the Agritechnica 2007 in Hanover, Germany fair.
