The construction of the Mediterranean corridor 'key' to consolidate the European markets

The president of the Generalitat Valencian, Francisco Camps, has ensured that the construction of the Mediterranean Runner is ‘key' to be able to consolidate the European markets and open new opportunities of business in the emergent economies.
Thus said it after holding a working meeting with representatives of Chambers of Commerce of Valencia, Catalonia, Murcia and Almería. Camps stated that 50% of Spaniards living in the Mediterranean corridor and that this territory generates 50% of the country's wealth, at the time noted that "the corridor has railways, highways and roads and an airport system of first-level". In this regard, it particularly stressed in the port system of the corridor that these last few years "has grown consistently and permanent because the door of the rest of the Mediterranean, across this region is essential door of one of the places of the world that is today growing stronger".
Camps urged the Government of Spain to stand up to the European Union as a priority project the inclusion, as trans-European corridor rail of European wide for the carriage of goods by the importance for the dynamization of companies in our territories.
