The international exhibition logistics and maintenance presents a new exhibition space 'exhibition village', with the collaboration of Institut Cerdà and the Icil Foundation. It's an area in which several brands show live and direct their products, services, solutions and improvements through practical examples of picking, reduction of environmental pollution, sustainable development and improvement of green logistics.
The 'Exhibition Village' will feature three areas differentiated on the basis of the represented sector: technology and storage; renewable energy sources; and reverse logistics. Among the many benefits offered by this area of exposure to their exhibitors must emphasize the implementation of its products and services in real time, attention to brand enhanced by their presence in the only access to the Exhibition Village, and the direct visibility of their products and services at the best price.
In the area dedicated to technology and storage solutions and methodologies for various types of preparation of orders and storage, will see demonstrations of solutions man product and product to man that will solve real problems facing warehouses, and demonstrations of the operation and profitability of each product and how to find new opportunities to generate improvements.
In the space to the renewable energy will have practical demonstrations of the use of new renewable energy to the improvement in the logistics chain of a warehouse type. Lebanon, country portal for the Mediterranean
Organised by Consorci El of Zona Franca and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, with the collaboration of the Association of Chambers of Commerce and industry of the Mediterranean (Ascame), eighth edition Mediterranean Forum of logistics and transport will be in the Lebanon to their guest country.
After 7 edits the Mediterranean Forum of logistics and transport, it has become the annual platform for the sector and a reference for discussion of topics of interest and new policies in the field of logistics and transport in the Mediterranean. Precisely, the eighth edition, which will take place in the framework of the Sil, will address issues related to the new impetus given to the Euro-Mediterranean partnership and its integration across the Union for the Mediterranean and the importance of the sector of transport and logistics as pillars economic and determining factors for integration into a single market maritime Mediterranean and United.
The Mediterranean Forum of logistics and transport will begin on Tuesday, may 25 with an opening session headed by Enrique Lacalle, President of the Organizing Committee of the 2010 Sil, Miquel Valls, President of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, and Murat Yalcintas, President of Ascame. He then held the first plenary session under the title of 'Times of change', that will be, among other questions, if current infrastructure can respond to the needs of the global sector of transport, what changes has been the economic integration of the Euro-Mediterranean region or what role plays the private initiative in the current environment.
The first day of the Mediterranean Forum of logistics and transport will conclude with a special session dedicated to the Lebanon, as guest country. Precisely the Lebanon has positioned itself as a significant site for the Mediterranean countries, thanks to the ambitious plans of construction and privatization of large infrastructures of transport, a fact that has led him to intensify their trade relations with Spain.
The Mediterranean Forum of logistics and transport will host the third Mediterranean ports Summit on Wednesday, May 26. This third edition will have the title 'The future organization of sea ports and Mediterranean maritime sector'. Among the key concepts that must be addressed should be noted that of the construction, expansion and modernization of the port platforms, fiscal and institutional reform, the quest for collaboration and guidance systems, the promotion of partnerships to maintain the position of global leadership or the response of the Mediterranean ports to the demand of 800 million of people.
Presents the 'Sil Tech Area'
The Sil, in collaboration with maintenance & Storage magazine of logistics, the Icil Foundation and UPC - Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya-, held a session devoted to new technologies, which took place on Wednesday 10 February at the Auditorium of the Consorci de la zone Franca of Barcelona. At this meeting the general director of Sil 2010, white Sorigué, presented to attendees 'Sil Tech Area', the new area of the international logistics show and created maintenance to maximize the participation of the companies that opt for new technologies in the field of logistics.
It is a space which seeks to establish a clear relationship between business and knowledge with the creation of stands of design and a room for presentations to all major companies of traceability, RFID identification systems, mobility technologiesconsulting, engineering, consulting and telecommunications operators to submit their news, products, services and carry out practical demonstrations.
