The ICIL Foundation stands in catalyst for the needs of the logistics industry

Pere Roca, President of the Executive Committee of the Foundation ICIL and general director counsel of Districenter (holding company Condeminas), was accompanied by members of the main organ of direction: Lluís e. Domènech, strategic advisor and director of training; Félix Tobalina, President the ICIL Association and the area of national and international expansion; Primitive García, in the area of technology and institutional relations, and José Luís Vidal, in the area of internal operating processes. In addition, also featured Juan Ramón Rodríguez as external assessor of sectoral tables of the Executive Committee. Jaime Mira, director technical, and Richard Catelli, director of innovation and logistics support to companies, also participated in meetings with journalists for advancing managers who star in the fifth edition of the ICIL discussions.
Education, innovation and exploitation of ideas
Pere rock anticipated the broad lines of the ICIL 2010 Strategic Plan whose objective is clear: much more empower management to develop all the future projects. In fact, the new plan intention is develop the logistics potential of enterprises, innovation, training and exploitation of ideas and providing incentives to the public authorities to promote these keys.
Since the Foundation will also enhance the technologies of information and communication technology (ICT), with particular emphasis to the career of its partners, also collaborating with the companies develop their expansion plans.
A plan of four basic axes
- Research: innovation of the ICIL sectoral tables. Eight permanent tables of analyses on a regular basis and composed of eight representatives of each sector professionals. The purpose is to investigate the feasibility of new techniques, processes and products to improve the management of the companies. The first to be held in brief are: automotive, retail, textile, logistics operators and trade retailer. On the other hand, it will drive collaborations with the major technology centers of Spain and the chairs of the most prestigious universities.
- Logistical support to companies (ALE): the ICIL partners will have the support in consultancy and advice for new projects in their companies, thus optimizing the knowledge obtained during its formative phase in this institution. ALE products are: 'logistical coaching', directed work and tutoring.
- Coordination and cooperation of the project: research, training and logistical support to companies will result in projects that ICIL will manage with the recruitment of public aid from national, regional and local administrations. To this end, ICIL soon will qualify as innovative business grouping.
- Training: maintenance of leadership in the logistics formation of Spain with new programs for the area of logistics and for the rest of the functional directions of the company and even the Directorate-General. The teaching material is going to register the digital transformation with a new technological infrastructure that will make it possible to reach new markets, both 'on line', as 'offline'.
Especially note the creation of a new figure: the academic collaborator, with a new support of training material and support systems for students 'on-line'. In fact, in the presentation, they said that they were considering a possible system of semivirtual formation, thinking of a possible international expansion, specifically to the Latin American market. "However - matizaban - for the moment the choice is the other way around."
