The mayor of Barcelona, Xavier Trias; the secretary of State of Telecommunications and for the Information Society, Víctor Calvo-Sotelo; the adviser of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Santi Vila; the adviser of Company and Occupation of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Felip Puig, and the mayor of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Núria Marín, will inaugurate tomorrow Tuesday the third edition of
The act of inauguration, that will consist in visiting the two living rooms, will take place to the 17.00 hours in the Hall Europe (access south) of the enclosure of Big Via in the square Europe of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.
Also will participate the third deputy mayor of the City council of Barcelona and copresidente of Smart City Expo, Antoni Live; the copresidente of Smart City Expo, Ramon Rock; the president of BcnRail, Javier Biscayan; and the general director of Fira of Barcelona, Agustín Cord, between other authorities.
In his third edition, Smart City Expo World Congress will convert Barcelona during three days in the capital of the intelligent cities. During three days, more than 300 cities of the five continents, 160 companies and 320 speakers will tackle jointly the challenges of urban transformation that they will have to face in the future next to guarantee the sustainability of our society. By his part, the fourth edition of BcnRail gathers to more than 60 display units of the rail industry, between which find the world-wide leaders in manufacture of mobile material, and has a wide program of activities in which they will tackle questions like the sustainable mobility, the access to the external markets and the logistics of commodities by railway industry like main challenges of the sector.
Smart City Expo and BcnRail take place of the 19 to 21 November in the enclosure of Big Via of Fira of Barcelona.
