Leitz Infinity Instruments with a new optical sensor for sensitive surfaces and bent

The machine of measurement of coordinates 3D Leitz Infinity, of the mark Leitz, pertaining to Hexagon Metrology, integrates from now the sensor of white light Precitec LR (Lateral Resolution) in his system of measurement, thanks to the cual will be able to measure surfaces of any nature. The sensor Precitec LR possesses an angle of acceptance of 90° ± 40°. In this way it can measure with precision surfaces very bent without palpado and without damage for the piece.

Precitec LR Allows besides check characteristics like the measures of the piece or the profile. The technology of the sensor will allow in the future measure also thicknesses of layer or rugosidades. The complex structures neither are a problem thanks to the high axial resolution, that is to say to the capacity to differentiate very well the successive pixels. The reflective surfaces, refringentes, brilliant, transparent and very bent, as for example the lens of the optical industry, neither offer any difficulty to the Precitec LR.

The Leitz Infinity is instrumented of standard way with the cabezal of tactile measurement of scan of high speed LSP-S4. In combination with the Precitec LR without contact, the user can change automatically inside a sequence of measurement between tactile and optical metrology.
