Engel and Mitsubishi join for marketing machines multicomponent in Japan

The Engelcompany, represented by helmut roegele, and mitsubishi Heavy industries plastic technology Co., ldt. (MHI-PT) have reached a cooperation agreement for the commercialization of the large-scale multi-component machines among Japanese clients. The objective is to jointly distribute machines Duo Combi with forces closure of 1,000 tons, under the brand name Mitsubishi-Engel.
Cooperation envisages using the network of sales and service of Mitsubishi, one of the leading manufacturers of injection of Japan machines. In addition, MHI-PT will assume the project planning and the provision of spare parts for these machines. This agreement should cover new fields of application - such as glazing - especially in the automotive industry. "With the machine Mitsubishi-Engel Duo Combi are able to cover a particularly interesting market for Japanese customers segment," said Toshiya Sato, President of MHI - PT. "As a world leader, also in multi-component machines, offer to customers of Mitsubishi machine sophisticated and forward-looking solution", says Peter Neumann, CEO of the Engel group.
Engel, as its own brand, is one of the largest global manufacturers machine injection and, at the same time, one of the leading companies in the construction of machines for plastics processing. Engel builds its large machines at its plant in St. Valentin (Austria), Shanghai (China) and New York (USA), and it has provided to date more than 4,000 of the Duo series machines.
