Hexagon is organizing a seminar on Metrology for the wind sector

hexagon metrology has prepared a seminar devoted specifically to the applications of metrology in the wind sector. The seminar 'Solutions for portable Metrology for the wind energy industry', will be held on October 8, 2009 in the Hotel NH El Toro (Pamplona), in a full day from 9: 30 to 16: 30.
Specialists of Hexagon Metrology Europe-wide application are working for a time in the more advanced projects and on 8 October will share these experiences in the following fields of application:
- Inspection of rotor blades.
- Measurement of towers.
- Measurement and layout of castings, (eg: covers).
- Inspection of small parts and complex machining.
During the day will also present special measurement systems and software solutions for each of the measurement tasks, and be shown practical examples. Attendees can obtain a broad overview of the different possibilities of measurement and proposed solutions for your measurement tasks related to the production and quality assurance of large components, that they will also be useful in the future.
