DMG saves initial cost of investment with its new machining center

The new horizontal machining DMC 55 H Eco in the construction of machine tool Center is intended for all those who are concerned about a high-performance managed with minimum costs. This new development of DMG saves initial investment costs and is generous in terms of features and the wide range of options.

The easily accessible working area assures comfort even during the preparation. Tours of the axes X, and Z are 560 mm x 600 mm, the pallets have a surface of mooring of 400 mm x 400 mm. Thermo-stable based on the DMC H Eco is the innovative DuoBlock concept which includes an essentially rigid frame with support on 3 points and a solid back wall. This, together with linear guides (guides of balls) and the spindles cooled internally, improve the thermal performance of the machine, ensuring optimum results in operations of milling. The machine has a big inclination protections that ensure the shavings fall.

With regard to the CNC control, DMG has decided for the Siemens 810D powerline for the new DMC 55 H Eco. Siemens control, integrated in the DMG panel with screen TFT 15 "and full keyboard, offers a new design of sharp screen as well as extensive capabilities and advanced cycles. The standard model includes also an Ethernet interface, allows a quick exchange of data with support for Compact Flash memory cards and makes possible short preparation times.

For additional programming tasks, control can be completed with options such as lateral surfaces or graphics software ShopMill 3D interpolation. The ShopMill provides the fastest way of drawing to the finished piece, standing out for its comprehensive management of tools, the role of preparation with graphical assistance and broad functionality of diagnosis, also assisted graphically.

However, the DMC 55 H Eco not only provides options for the software. Depending on the range of work, you can select different options of enlargement. Part of the rotary table to CN, the motor integrated spindle SK 40 can be adapted with 18,000 min-1. Other available options are the system of direct measurement, probes for measuring, control of rupture mechanics tool as well as also 'packages of production' with cooling equipment of 980 litres and internal cooling 40 bar (23 l/min spindle Center), cleaning the ceiling or the workspace respectively and rotating Windows.
