ARBURG presents relevant technologies in the Equiplast 2008

"The Equiplast is the most important fair of the sector of the plastic in the Iberian Peninsula," says Martin Franã§AIS, Chief of the branch of Arburg for Spain and Portugal. "We therefore present three machines and innovative applications that adapt perfectly to the requirements of Spanish and Portuguese markets."

"Arburg has defined the efficient treatment of energy as one of its corporate objectives for 2008 and has focused it on a global initiative called energy WEficiencia Allround". The aim is not only produce the Allrounder and technology complete Arburg with the lowest possible energy consumption. The company wants to contribute not only with its products but also with its know-how to its customers efficiently reduce energy consumption. Consequently ARBURG presents at Equiplast 2008 in Barcelona an electric Allrounder 420 A machine, distinguished with the Arburg energy efficiency "e_" label.

"WDado that the interests of our customers by electric machines grows and the packaging sector is getting stronger, we present the manufacture of vessels in an electrical machine," explains Martin Cayre. The fast cycle Allrounder 420 A 1000-400 machine has 420 mm of light between columns, 1,000 kN clamping force and a 400 injection unit. Equipped with a two cavity mould it will inject polypropylene cups in a cycle time of only 2 seconds. The weight of injected for both vessels is 16.8 grams. The machine has, a mouthpiece of closure of needle-operated pneumatically, of electro-mechanical ejector for a quick draft of the piece. With this equipment the Allrounder A is optimally prepared for a few cycles of production of parts for rapid and reproducible thin wall with high accuracy.

In the hydraulic Allrounder 370 S with a clamping force of 600 kN and a 170 injection unit is manufactured a Buggy whose metal shaft is sobreinyectará with plastic. In doing so the injection machine works with a system of robot Arburg Multilift V vertical intervention whose command is fully integrated in the Selogica piloting of the machine. The complex gripper of robot system is responsible for the placement of the metal shaft, the collection of the trough and the piece and the subsequent Assembly of the toy car. Metal shafts are prepared and separated using a vibrator system. Claw picks up two axes and places them in the mold after the collection of the finished pieces. In a cycle time of 30 seconds is sobreinyectan in an only step of manufacturing two wheels and simultaneously manufactured the chassis and the roof. Then claw picks up the trough and four individual pieces of the Buggy. This cost-effective hydraulic series combines the most modern technology of machine with relation to the attractive price performance. It is composed of nine Allrounder with fixed combinations of unit locking and injection unit. Like all Allrounder occur exclusively in the central factory of Arburg in Lossburg, Germany.
