Molecor Enters his technology of PVC-Oriented in the sudeste of Asia

Molecor (WAS) Sdn Bhd goes in in the sector of the channelling of the water in the sudeste of Asia under the mark Hypro. The company bets to establish his plant of manufacture of PVC-Or in Gebeng, Kuantan. The operations of production will begin in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Molecor (WAS) Sdn is constituted by Fitters Diversified Bhd with 65%, as well as Ricwill Sdn Bhd and Molecor Technology with participations of 20% and 10% respectively. The three parts signed an agreement, witnessed by the minister of Power, Water and sustainable technologies of Malaysia Datuk Dr. Maximus Ongkili, during the expo Asia Water 2014 in Kuala Lumpur.

The new plant will have initially three lines of production, with a total capacity installed of until 11.000 metric tonnes (TM) by year. Later, it would duplicate the production. In fact, Molecor (WAS) Sdn Bhd has foreseen to expand his capacity of production during the next three years and half to local level, as well as in Thailand and Indonesia.

During the past fair Asia Water 2014, celebrated of the 19 to 21 March, in Kuala Lumpur, presented of official form the new company Molecor (WAS) Sdn Bhd.

Molecor Technology developed and patented the technology of molecular orientation that allows to manufacture pipes of PVC-Oriented with big mechanical and greater properties life useful (until 50 years). The pipes of PVC-Or, manufactured of agreement to the international rules, resist to corrosion and natural chemicals, which guarantees the quality of the water. This type of pipes are the ideal solution for new projects of the government and municipalidades, in addition to renewal of networks for the transport the water to high pressesure from the plant of potabilización until his distribution.

The group is expecting to obtain the certification of SIRIM and of the National Commission of Services of Water (National Water Services Commission, SPAN) in Malaysia.

The president of Molecor Technology, Ignacio Muñoz, declared: “The pipes of PVC-Or manufactured by Molecor have a record of effective application in several countries, between them Australia, Italy, Spain, Colombia and Ecuador. The market of pipes of PVC-Or in Malaysia is promising".
