The two more prestigious prizes of
The Prize Peter Wallenberg has conceded to Olaf Leonhardt and Andreas Kiefer, those who developed a concept of centre of global innovation in the company of product SCA GmbH of Atlas Copco, pertaining to the area of Technical business of Industrial Applications. In the centres of innovation of all the world, the customers, mainly of the industry of the car, have the opportunity to work in narrow collaboration with the employees of SCA to test solutions of adhesive. This awards to the customers a key paper from the initial phase to conform the solutions that need.
The Prize John Munck of technical innovations has conceded to the team of Atlas Copco Airpower in Belgium that developed the compressesor GA VSD+: Bert Derom, Andries Desironinging, Tine Hellebuyck and Joris Derde. This compressesor, entered in 2013 after several years of investigation and development, can reduce the consumption of power to the half in comparison with the compressesors of traditional fixed speed. His greater innovation is the integration of the engine of permanent magnets interiors with the element of compressesion, that has allowed to create a lighter machine, silent and efficient. “So much the centres of innovation like the new compressesor are excellent examples of our determination to increase the productivity of the customers”, declared Ronnie Leten, president and CEO of the Group Atlas Copco. “We will follow putting a big emphasis in the development of products and innovative services that help to our customers”.
The Prize Peter Wallenberg of Marketing and Sales recognises the most innovative method and better implanted in the field of sales and marketing. The prize John Munck concedes every year to a designer of products or to a team by his fundamental contribution to the global quality of a product Atlas Copco.
