Atlas Copco receives a galardón by his work in the fight against the HIV/SIDA

The SWHAP (Swedish Workplace HIV and SIDA Programme, the Swedish program of fight against the HIV / SIDA in the job centres) has awarded to Atlas Copco South Africa a galardón special in recognition to his constant work to reduce the impact of the HIV / SIDA between the employees. In the prize to the most complete program, Atlas Copco Zambia remained classified second.

Atlas Copco South Africa initiated his program HIV / SIDA 10 years ago to sensitise and support to his employees in the prevention and treatment of the illness. In the actuality, the program covers voluntary and confidential proofs, treatment and orientation to the employees of Atlas Copco and his familiar. Also it has implemented in other available companies of Africa.

The SWHAP Achievement Award entered in 2008 to stimulate and reward the successful and innovative initiatives in the job centres. Atlas Copco South Africa won the category Most Comprehensive Award in 2009 and 2010 by his destined program to offer an integral support to the employees seropositivos and avoid that others result infected by the virus.
