The CTM will develop an electrical urban vehicle adapted for the rent and the mobility
5 November 2012
For this project will develop a system of storage of until 8kWh, with a maximum power of 15 kW, that will provide a maximum speed of until 80 km/h, with an automatic gestión of the available power according to the distance described or the performance of the driver, guaranteeing an autonomy until 100 km.
Will develop a compact electronic unit optimised that will do the function of loaders and investor at the same time, reducing like this of two independent equipment to one only able to control the engine and do the function of loaders of high power for recarga fast. The compact electronic unit will be able to be connected so much to pilones of recarga fast trifásica of 12 kW of able power of recargar the battery in 45 min or a connection monofásica domestic (<3,3 kW) in which the time of recarga will be of 2,5 h.
Will design and will develop modules of wireless communication, for the vehicle and the pilona of recarga, that will have to allow the link between yes of the control units of the vehicle, the pilona external and the smartphone of the user.
By making reference to the recharge of energy system, will be held a pylon recharges with multiple shots of three-phase voltage of up to 12 kW, with the security systems and wireless communications suitable for rapid recharging of electric vehicles with battery.
This project is part of the conclusions drawn from the European project MoMo, More Options for Energy Efficient Mobility through CarSharing, Momo CarSharing (http://www.momo-cs.eu), in terms of research and development of technologies and applications necessary for the promotion of this new type of mobility.
The project will leave a vehicle that is currently on the market do so to serve as a platform to test innovations to be developed during the project. Foundation CTM Centre Tecnològic will be responsible for the complete management of the project, global modeling of simulation of the vehicle, the development of the storage system, the applications for smartphones and integration. In a period of a year and a half is expected to have the prototype ready for dynamic test tests.
Velow project will have a duration of 2 years, a total budget of 900.152, and will be co-financed by action and the European Feder funds. The project partners are the Infranor, Rücker-Lypsa, Selba, and RBS companies and research centres are the Group of research of the UPC and the Foundation CTM Centre Tecnològic MCIA. By the CTM, the project will involve five professionals belonging to the areas of energy and internal management.
