UPM, CC OO and UGT sign the tables salariales of the metal for the province of Barcelona

The Commission Negotiator of the Collective Agreement for the Industry Siderometalúrgica of the Province of Barcelona, integrated cheese cheese by Joined Patronal Metal·lúrgica (UPM) and the unions FIC CC OO and M.C.To.-Or.G.T., it has signed the Tables and Annexes Salariales valid for the year 2012, proceeding to the review of the sixth and last year of force of the same. The increase salarial will be of 2%, roughly two points underneath of what had meant to sign the tables salariales if there had not been the negotiation that culminated with the signature of Joined Metal·lúrgica of Catalonia the previous week, in virtue of the cual, decided for this year give a deal unified to the percentage of increase salarial foreseen for the year 2012 in the reviews salariales of the Collective Agreements for the Indústria Siderometal·lúrgica of lss provinces of Barcelona, Tarragona and Gironinginga.
“The labour reform and the agreement mark of January have helped in the negotiation. This year yes we have found more sensitivity and sindical responsibility. It is not the agreement that had liked us but yes the best taking into account that the agreement between CEOE and unions does not affect to the agreements in review as ours”, commented Antoni Marsal, president of the patronal. On the other hand, Marsal stood out the importance to apply properly the tables salariales and take into account the clause of absorption/compensation “what in some cases can represent that the increase salarial was not upper to 0,5%” (still taking into account that, with exceptional character and for this year 2012, only will be able to be compensables and absorbibles until 50% of the total of the planned increase for 2012).
Another of the clauses that contemplates the signature of the tables, is the one of the Inaplicación Salarial (or Descuelgue) through which, those companies with difficulties will be able to receive to the inaplicación salarial for the year 2012, in the terms and conditions foreseen legally. For the year 2012 the working time keeps in 1.750 annual hours of effective work.
