Mori Seiki and Gildemeister combine their activities in Europe

Mori Seiki and Gildemeister plan to combine their sales and services in Europe. This cooperation partners intend to create a joint venture for all the European markets (excluding Germany). The new holding company will assume the management of all commercial activities and services of the European Union of both companies. The German market will continue to run from Stuttgart by DMG / Mori Seiki.
At the EMO exhibition in Hannover DMG / Mori Seiki presented around 100 high technology equipment together for the first time in a total of 7,300 square metres of exhibition space in Hall 2.
Cooperation in Germany and Europe will include the sale and all technical services, such as service desk, training courses, as well as technical support. Also, cooperation also entail great additional benefits in the future for customers in Europe, to have available portfolio of DMG and Mori Seiki products. In addition, 31 technological centres ensure your exclusive local presence.
After a successful integration in other markets - such as Asia, the traditional market of USA and Japan-Germany market and the rest of European markets now will be developed jointly. In the future, 17 - responsible 37 markets in Europe - national companies will gather in DMG / Mori Seiki Europe. In certain countries (Poland, Russia, Austria) the merger is still subject to the approval of the authorities. The cooperation of Germany and Europe will begin in early September with a total of approximately 1,350 employees. Of these, 600 employees working in Germany and 750 in other European countries.
