Maquitec closed its Edition with satisfaction for the Organization and business
Companies that have opted for the specialization, like Kaph Tarraco, showed a range of machines for bending of sheet metal and profiles: bending rolls cylinder of sheet metal of the brand Faccin, one bending of profiles with 170 mm axles, able to bend an IPN of 320 mm and cylinderscurvadoras profiles and small Disma bordonadoras.
They were also present, companies such as Curvaser, machines for tubes and rods, which showed a broad sample of their catalog, or Hidrogarne to exhibit their universal cutters that have more features than other models available in the market. The company aims to enter the market as a mark of more benefit to market price.
On the other hand, Aseim demonstrated its commitment by technology exhibiting integral cell by bending (machine, robot and turnkey projects) that can work 24 hours, 365 days a year. It also showed products of laser of the latest generation of low-power and electric punching machines.
The Hall was also an important forum for discussion to reflect on new techniques and applications, change of the industrial economy, and the opening to new markets as the Euro-Mediterranean or the Eastern Europe. More than 500 people took part in the business meetings, seminars and conferences that were held.
Between these events highlighted the Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Industrial cooperation; the seminar on partnerships in Eastern Europe; the session on internationalization of industrial subcontracting, the Forum of the recruitment of Aerce, and the Conference on the maintenance of machine tools; new surface treatments; and safety in welding.
On the other hand, new spaces were reinforced by the commercial offer of Maquitec 2007 to offer advice customized to the visitor about the application of new technologies and projects of research and development to the industrial company. The spaces of the Cidem; of Pimec; for Fitec r - Fundació Catalana de Recerca; of the Col·legi d'Enginyers industrial de Catalunya or of l'Institut Català de welding have shown the importance of innovation in the industry. Maquitec also hosted the finals and the awards ceremony of the first national contest of welding that sponsors Abelló Linde.
The next edition of the industrial fair Maquitec will take place in 2009.
Roberto Hernando, Manager of Intermaher, S.A., exclusive distributor of machine Mazak in Spain, rated as "very positive" the participation of the Basque company at the fair, in which the turnover of the sold machines has reached one million euros.
During the days that the fair was held in Barcelona the stand received around 300 visits, more than the of previous editions, fact which allowed their representatives make important contacts with new potential customers.
Intermaher presented in Maquitec the new machining centers horizontal HCN 4000 II and HCN 6800 II, equipped with the latest technology of Mazak, which provide them with great efficiency and versatility, as well as high thanks to CNC Mazatrol Matrix calculation power. Also exposed machines NCV II, QTN 100 II M e Integrex 200 IV S. 510C
Maquitec 2007 was the scene of the final phase of the first national contest of welding that sponsors Abelló Linde and that recognizes the best welders of our country. The awards ceremony, held on 23 March, was chaired by the President of the Organizing Committee of Maquitec, Josep Morell. The winners received a cash prize and a certificate of approval of tiling.
The first prize of 3,500 euros accounted for Oscar Busom Cortes of Tarragona. The second classified Daniel Garcia Franco, Lion, took 2,000 euros. Third place went to José Manuel Arroyo Pedraza, from Madrid, who received $ 1,000. Finally, the fourth finalist Daniel Oncins, Barcelona, earned 300 euros.
In addition to the corresponding rebate, the champion and runner-up received a certificate of approval of tiling in 287 in pipe of high pressure (root with TIG) and stuffed with coated electrode, while the third and fourth will have to perform additional evidence in the AdSL centres to get certified said.
150 Applicants of all Spain were presented to the contest. From November 2006 to February 2007, qualifying tests in the AdSL Abelló Linde centers were developed in Ruby and Alcalá de Henares. Among the participants, were selected eight candidates with the best scores that disputed the final tournament in Maquitec 2007.
The finalists performed in the Hall several welds in pipe and sheet, using three techniques (SMAW, MAG and TIG). The final test was the Union of a pipe, according to certain specifications.
The jury took into account the quality of the soldered Union, execution speed, technique and good practice, among other professional criteria.
