The ICIL Foundation signs a strategic agreement with technological Center Leitat

Pere Roca, President of the Executive Committee of the Foundation ICIL, and Albert Matarrodona Riera, executive director of the Technological Center Leitatsigned collaboration agreement with the following lines of action:

• Realization of seminars on technology transfer in the area of logistics and the benefits to be gained by better managing their processes and organizations incorporating specific technologies.
• Cooperation for the realization of innovative projects to improve the efficiency of the logistics processes.
• Collaborative research and development projects.

The two entities combine their skills to put them at the service of the business sector and thus increase their competitiveness. Companies in various economic sectors may benefit from the synergies that get Leitat and ICIL Foundation in the development of logistics innovation projects applicable to their respective businesses. Ramon Casòliva, project manager of the ICIL Foundation, has highlighted the first initiatives to be developed: "In the framework of the collaboration between Fundación ICIL and Leitat offer the opportunity to carry out a self-assessment of SMEs, in one of the following topics": Transverse Diagnostics: how to introduce e-commerce; digitization of its operations; Human resources; business management; and how to use ICT to implement a monitoring and economic intelligence project. Sectoral diagnosis: e-tourism, or developing digital uses in tourism; Logistics, with technologies to improve the logistics activity of enterprises; Crafts, develop digital uses crafts; "and food-processing, to develop digital uses in the food sector".
