Sil 2009, stage of the ' Invest in Med'

International exhibition logistics and maintenance, to be held in Barcelona from 2 to 5 June 2009, will host the project ' Invest in Med ", co-financed by the European Union and with the aim of developing foreign investment and trade flows in the Euro-Mediterranean region. It's an important business meeting, to be carried out under the seventh Mediterranean Logistics Forum and transport to be held in Sil 2009, and that will allow a great interaction between the Spanish and European companies with the rest of companies from the countries of the Mediterranean arc. The program ' Invest in Med "it will strengthen the relations of the logistics sector at European level and help generate business and sales for the exhibiting companies from the Sil 2009.

The "Invest in Med' is an ambitious programme of EUR 12 million - 9 million euros are provided by the European Commission and the EUR 3 million remaining for the members of the Consortium and its sponsors — which contemplates, between 2008 and 2011, approximately 200 meetings to be held in the different countries comprising the Euro-Mediterranean region. These meetings take place in BtoB meetings, representative of industry conferences, trade missions of Exchange, etc. The recent appointment of Barcelona as the seat of the Permanent Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UPM) and the holding of the Invest in Med strengthens the commitment of the Sil, which reaffirmed clearly as the international logistics and the leading maintenance of southern Europe and the Mediterranean arc.

' Invest in Med ", co-financed by the European Union, aims to increase foreign investment, the flow of trade and the development of the Euro-Mediterranean region.
