During the international exhibition of the logistics and the maintenance of Barcelona (SIL 2007) ITENE organized a meeting on the logistics of dangerous goods which had a good response among professionals. Also, 'Strategic vision 2020' document, a future vision of the logistics needs of companies which analyzes the current situation of the sector was presented.

A total of 65 representatives of companies from all Spain attended the workshop on goods which held the technological Institute of packaging, transport and logistics (Itene) within the framework of the 9th international logistics and maintenance (SIL) 2007 in Barcelona. The technician Silvia Pérez said that the Reach "is a single regulation which will replace all current European legislation that has to do with chemicals." "It's harmonizing the legislation of the EU that at this time there were more than 40 different legal texts".

Reach entered into force on June 1, 2007.
