Jungheinrich Opens new factory for carts and logistical systems

The past 27 November inaugurated the new factory of Jungheinrich for carts and logistical systems, in the industrial region of Degernpoint – very next to the factory that the company has in Moosburg, in the south of Germany. The production of these carts gave beginning in September, in some modern installations and instrumented with the last technologies. The new factory did indispensable when reaching the central plant of Moosburg his limit of capacity, and not being able to face future enlargements. The construction of the new plant has lasted roughly 16 months.

Jungheinrich Has invested a total of 40 million euros in his new installations. The Dr. Klaus-Dieter Rosenbach, president of the Council of Supervision of Jungheinrich Moosburg GmbH and member of the Managerial Board of Jungheinrich AG, explains that “the new factory of Degernpoint is a significant investment for Jungheinrich and his emplazamiento of Moosburg. It allows us follow working in the line of a growth sustained, in expanding our quota of market and in boosting the employment in the region.” At present, near of 300 professionals work in the installations of Degernpoint.

The carts manufactured in the new centre of production go headed to customers of all the world. Jungheinrich Is leader in the market of carts order pickers and trilaterales in Europe. And, according to Rosenbach, the company foresees an increase of the demand in this segment: “we Have estimated an annual growth of the market of the 15 percent, especially in the emergent markets of Asia, east Europe, Orient Next and Suramérica, ” ensures, remarking the fact that Jungheinrich has seen to grow considerably his commercial operations in said regions in the last months.
