Jungheinrich Expands his range of product of APM

Jungheinrich has launched this autumn a new Car Pallet Move (APM). The solution consists in a transpaleta electrical of type ERE 225to, instrumented with a system of guided without driver. Like the rest of APMs, the new machine bases in a carretilla Jungheinrich of series. With this new machine, the company, with headquarters in Hamburg, already has a total of three Car Pallet Movers, including the model EKS 210to (order pickers) and the ERC 215to (apilador).

The Car Pallet Movers are designed to realizar tasks of regular transport. “In this way, the customer can be safe that the tasks finalise to time, and as the planned”, it explains Martin Schwaiger, responsible of the APM in Jungheinrich. This adds that the execution automated of tasks of transport of standard type allows to the operarios centre in other operations of transport organizacional or logísticamente more complex.

Because of his versatility, the ERE 225to can use so much in a warehouse automated as in mixed operations. The carretilla controls by means of navigation laser. According to Schwaiger, this deletes the need to do changes in the plant of the warehouse, since the navigation takes place by means of reflective panels mounted in shelves, walls or columns. Schwaiger Ensures that this allows “no only a positioning of the carretilla precise and milimétrico in the stations of picking and of expedition predefinidas, but also a high degree of flexibility regarding the new routes of transport inside the warehouse”.

Instrumented with the technology trifásica AC of last generation of Jungheinrich, the ERE 225to can handle loads of more than 2.500 kilos. The carretilla can instrument, incidentally, with long extra forks, allowing in this way the transport of multiple pallets. Of optional form, can integrate sensors in the tip of the forks to detect automatically a palet broken or an obstacle, and in this way increase the hygiene of the commodities transported.
