The general assembly also approved the nomination of the two new vice-presidents, Enric Crous, general director of Damm, and of Ramón Walls, vice-president of Governmental and Institutional Relations of Seat and of the Group Volkswagen in Spain. The association also will have new vocal, delivered between the institutions —Port, Airport, Adif, Ferrocarrils of the Generalitat— and the private companies —Iberpotash, Mango, Saba and Nissan—, and with the participation of the City council of Barcelona

The new president of the BCL has remembered that “the Consorci of the Frank Zone of Barcelona is member founder of BCL and that keeps the initial commitment with the logistical and industrial binomial, very important for the economic recovery”. Cornet Has announced the lines of performance of BCL for the next two years: boost the demand of logistical services, the internationalisation of the sector, the excellence in the gestión of infrastructures and the energetic efficiency of the sector.
In this line, the new presidency of BCL will have like priority shares —all they already included in the Logistical Diary 2020— promote the Mediterranean Runner; the rail connection with the centre of the Iberian Peninsula with capacity for convois of 750 metres; the third rail lane of European width between the Port of Tarragona and Castellbisbal; the road and rail accesses the Port of Barcelona and Tarragona; the specific learning and of quality for the sector; and achieve some logistical services, especially in the ports, the 24 hours of the day and the 7 days of the week.
