Rehau Expands his system of distribution of sanitary ware water Rautitan

The Directive 98/83/CE of the Council of the European Union, relative to the quality of the destined waters to the human consumption, approved with the aim to protect the health of the people, establishing the requirements of salubridad and of cleaning that has to fulfil the drinkable water in the European Union. This directive has gone transponiendo in Spain by means of the Royal decree 140/2003, finalising his total application the next 1 January 2014 regarding the maximum concentration of lead in the water. From then said concentration will not be able to be upper to 0,010 mg of lead by litre of water, what affects directly to the materials in contact with this half.

From the treatment of water until his internal canalisation, the new rule centres , among others, in the systems used for the distribution of the water in the interior of the real estate, establishing that the materials used will not have to contaminate the quality of the water with germs or substances that can suppose a risk for the health of the consumer. Will have to loan special attention to the real estate built before 1980, since a deficient maintenance of the materials of the installations -as the copper, chromium, nickel, ironinging and lead can alter the quality of the water that pipes .
