Atecyr Inaugurates his new social headquarters in Madrid

“With almost 40 years of path, Atecyr lives now another historical moment with the inauguration of these new installations, in which we expect to keep growing”, signalled to way of presentation Javier Moreno, the one who added that this project had not been possible without the support of all the associated.

In October of 2011, Atecyr bought several venues situated in the street Agastia 112 To of Madrid with the end to reform them and adapt them so that they went the future offices and headquarters of the association and Fundatecyr. With this marked the aim to improve the attention and the services loaned to the partners and collaborators, especially in formative matter, where has grown enormously during the four last years: near of 400 technical days, more than 320 courses, 4 postgrados, creation of the first Course of Expert in Air conditioning…

In this sense, the new installations of Atecyr explain in the entreplanta with a surface built of 135 m² allocated specifically to the learning. It completes the new social headquarters with an upper plant of 163 m² devoted to offices, library and sala, and with a sótano of 72 m² reserved to the warehouse of all the publications and to the archive of the association.

“In this new headquarters, the members of Atecyr will follow contributing our dedication, our effort and our heart in all that that do”, concluded Javier Moreno.

Like another of his big aims, Atecyr wants to reinforce his international presence, and in this sense was sintomática the presence in the inauguration of the new offices of Tom Watson, president of the American Association of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioned (Ashrae), with which Atecyr keeps a narrow collaboration in subjects as, for example, the distribution of different publications.

By his part, Manuel Beltrán, viceconsejero of Economy, Consumption and Trade of the Community of Madrid, stood out during his address the importance that has the association and all his members in the achievement of one of the big aims that has marked the autonomic administration, the efficient use of the power, favouring “optimise the consumption but keeping the confort thermal sensors of the citizens”.

All the assistants could visit the installations, carry a copy of the VII Yearbook of Air conditioning and Refrigeration of Atecyr and taste a cocktail in a very next restaurant to the social headquarters.
