The project Ebrobiosalud investigates new foods that answer to the Mediterranean diet

The project Ebrobiosalud is promoted by the business association of the Valley of the Ebro Cluster FooD+i and has participation of CTIC-Quotes. The initiative investigates healthy foods based in the revalorización of vegetal by-products and is linked to the development of the sector agroalimentario of the Valley of the Ebro

The company Foncasal is the coordinator of the project that explains also with the business participation of the Group Riberebro and Rihuelo. The University of Seville, the Autonomous University of Madrid and the CTIC-Appointment participate like entities of investigation and development. The novelties of the investigation will be applicable to the vegetal preserves, oils and to new functional foods, framed in the Mediterranean diet.
