The garlic purple IGP of Las Pedroñeras, present one more year in the IFAD

The geographical indication protected, IGP garlic from Las Pedroñeras purpleassist the XLI fair international of garlic (IFAD) being held in Las Pedroñeras (Cuenca) from the 26th until July 28 as a lecturer and contributor, in order to publicize the excellence of a product indispensable in Spanish cuisine and develop business meetings with clients and suppliers to continue its work of promotion.
In addition to the information stand which will be present at the IFAD, where managers and professionals of the IGP explained the peculiarities and characteristics of this product of excellence from La Mancha Castilian, the IGP will participate in the novelty of the fair this year, presenting the commented wine tasting that the doctor be held in food science and technology of the University of Castilla - La Mancha, Manuel Angel Gomez Gallego. On the other hand, and as it has become tradition, the IGP garlic Morado de Las Pedroñeras will be present in the gastronomic competition V which has been prepared from Las Pedroñeras Town Hall, giving all participants their weight in garlic purple.
The President of the IGP, José María Pacheco, said that the presence of this quality brand in the international fair "is of vital importance for the promotion of this conquense product because it is an occasion in which more than 20,000 industry professionals meet each year and the protected geographical indication should not miss". The objective one year more than the presence at this fair, "it is to carry out new business contacts and let us to inform consumers and professionals," added Pacheco.
In addition to these activities, the IGP garlic purple will also be present in the various discussions and which will be held over the three days at Las Pedroñeras. In this way, "we intend to expand our knowledge of our product and promotion actions, move it further to professionals and consumers as Purple Garlic has a fundamental role in our gastronomy," said Pacheco, who added that "like every year, our expectations are very high and very positive because experience tells us that such actions have an exceptional welcome and allows us to make stable relationships with clients and consumers."
