Chilean authorities will visit Spain to know the integration of renewable in the network

Chile, that finds in full period of expansion of the renewable energies, is topando with similar technical problems to which found Spain to finals of the ninety. Besides, it treats of a country with electrical networks that need to be expanded and a complex geographic distribution, what hampers even more the work of integration in network. From here that the visit was oriented to know the Spanish experience.

The authorities of the Chilean Government in matter of power, directors of entities commissioned of the operation of the system and companies, will be received by his homologous Spaniards and will visit different centres of control, wind parks, photovoltaic and central plants termosolares of the country. His aim is to know the solutions of connection to the network of renewable installations of different size and technology, as well as the codes of network and the applicable rule that have allowed to connect so important contingent of electricity generated by sources no manageable, in ideal conditions of hygiene and confiabilidad of the network in Spain.

Incidentally, will tackle the appearances and solutions for the reliable operation of the system, so much from the technical punto like economic. Of form more detailed, will treat on the control of tension, the operation centralised, the prediction and the detours of the programs, the incidence in the services of regulation and the control of tension.

“Want to emphasize the value of the Spanish experience to help in the curve of Chilean learning, especially to effects of the conjoint generation of renewable and conventional energies. Sure that this visit will be for Chile a technical contribution of first level”, affirms Carlos Finat, executive director of the Chilean Association of Renewable Energies (Sidewalk).
