Altro Saw the Sportive Centre/Center Nando Yosu

The renewed Nando Yosu has two plants distributed in different areas. The previous building found in bad conditions and, apart from the changing rooms, hardly offered services. It needed an improvement and this has been projected by the architects Santiago Fernández, Beatriz Varea and Eugenio González and executed by Decorations Honorato, distributor of Altro in Cantabria.

To this respecto, Jesús of the Uncle, of the Technical department of Decorations Honorato, affirms that “they asked us an improvement of the material prescribed and entered Altro”. Eugenio González confirms that when they presented them the mark seemed them an excellent election, “since it is a product that offers a optimum provision and that will use definitely for future works”.

To guarantee the security and the resistance to the wear have installed several models of the signature: 1.600 square metres/meters of Altro Impressionist II / IP20 in corridors and stairs, 500 square metres/meters of Altro Marine 20 / T20 in showers and 450 square metres/meters of Altro Whiterock in the walls of the showers and other susceptible zones to have humidity.

The pavimentos Altro stand out by his high resistance, his security and his hygiene. By this reason, are highly recommended for a sportive centre/center where the wear is very accused and it is necessary extremar the cautions in humid zones.

Besides, Eugenio González stands out like main advantages “in the first place, the possibility to find floors of Class 3 of security; second, his homogeneity; and, finally, that all the thickness was antideslizante. Definitely it gives a lot of tranquility to the hour to choose it for a project of this type”. Also Jesús of the Uncle coincides in that the plus of Altro is that “they are floors homogéneos and in this installation, where the players go with boots of football/soccer and his corresponding swearwords, another pavimento did not go to work”.

In stairs and corridors the Altro Impressionist II / IP20, of 2 millimetres/millimeters of thickness, plays a very important paper, since it is thought for areas of half traffic and high. Besides, it includes an agent bacteriostático to offer a greater hygiene and includes particles of colour/color that turn it into a decorative and cheerful product.

By his part Altro Marine 20 / T20 has installed in the floor of the showers. It is a very sued product thanks to his excellent capacity antideslizante, improved by the buttons that includes to avoid slips and by his absence of boards and cavities. This attribute is guaranteeed by his belonging to the Class 2 regarding the fulfillment the valid rule of the Technical Code of Edificación (CTE), that marks the degree of resbalicidad or resistance to the slide that have to observe the pavimentos according to the zones and the uses (CTE-DB SUA-1). It is indicated to walk with the humid feet, barefoot or with footwear of soft and available sole in an attractive range of colours/colors. Of 2 millimetres/millimeters of thickness, also has agents bacteriostáticos that optimise/optimize his hygiene.

In this occasion the pavimento has placed continuous until the wall, and has gone up 20 centimetres/centimeters to way of rodapie, so that there are not angles of 90 degrees and therefore together where can put the dirt. Also it is very easy to clean, with hoses, brushes, etc. “Regarding the hygiene results a pavimento exceptional”, ensures Jesús of the Uncle.

Finally, and taking into account that in this project the hygiene has been a priority, has installed Altro Whiterock in the walls of the showers, of the bath of hidromasaje and of the swimming pool of cold water, in combination with the Altro Marine 20 / T20. This revestimiento is highly hygienic and his main advantages are his impermeabilidad, his big resistance to stains, spill chemists and impact and his durability in spite of an intensive use. So much his installation, as his cleaning and maintenance are very simple.

The result has been a building multifuncional designed especially so that the Racing of Santander, and the teams of inferior categories, can have of a modern and functional space where train, that houses all the necessary services.

In the low plant find the most used installations: the changing rooms for the Racing of Santander, (with a room for the technicians and another for the doctors), and of the Racing B, whereas for the players of inferior categories have enabled in the central zone eight additional changing rooms. Likewise, there will be two changing rooms for referees, four chambers for consign of the material and two medical centres/centers (one for First Division and another for the rest of the teams).

As to the fitness area, on the first floor there is an exclusive gym for the team primary, and one that will share the rest of categories, as well as a terrace of 160 metres long with artificial grass, where players can make stretching after training.

Finally, and on completion of the wide range of services, another area will be intended for residential use (with rooms of two seats for the athletes coming from outside); a car park; a cafe for public use; a Hall; a press room; and independent cabins for media with a view to the training ground.
