CONSTRUTEC 2010 invited three hundreds of buyers from around the world

The Hall building, Construtec 2010, part of the Plan of internationalization of construction materials, the Institute of foreign trade, Icex, driven by the patron Cepco, Spanish Confederation of associations of manufacturers of construction products, together with the above-mentioned public agencies that make up the so-called Interterritorial Council of internationalization. The incorporation of Construtec this plan will allow the implementation of a programme by which some 300 buyers from all the world will attend invited to the next - the eleventh - edition of the event, organised by Ifema and that will take place from 5 to 8 October 2010, in the Feria de Madrid.

This Plan of internationalization of the materials of construction provides for, among other things, a series of actions aimed at enhancing the outreach of the sector of construction materials, among which regards Construtec, one of its main commercial showcases.

In this sense, has been approved implementing a program of guests, which includes a selection of 300 buyers, chosen among those markets of greatest interest to the Hall of the building, such as Brazil, Eastern Europe, North Africa and UAE, among others.

This initiative will allow exhibiting companies of Construtec access to new business opportunities and enhance its internationalization, as well as to enhance the international profile of the contest, which, in its previous edition of 2008, recorded the presence of a total of 110 participating companies - 20% of the total-from 15 countries, and 1,110 visitors professional, originating in 74 countries.

In this sense and with an eye here for three years, the internationalization Plan of construction material sectors raised three fundamental objectives: to present in foreign markets a very attractive Spanish offer; increase the export of domestic production, and improve the image of the Spanish industry in the face of operators and international prescribers.

The Spanish Confederation of associations of manufacturers of building materials, Cepco, Construtec collaborator, has emerged as partner for the development of this Plan, to bring together a very heterogeneous sector. In fact, Cepco, Member of the CEOE, joined 23 sectoral associations.

Test, moreover, that such broad are the subsectors for which it is designed programme of actions envisaged by the Interterritorial Council of internationalization, and ranging from proper building materials (precast concrete, prepared concrete)(, tubes of cast iron, brick and tile, plaster, cement, steel, iron, etc); to electrical equipment; passing through doors, Windows and other products of wood; ceramic paving and wall; taps and bathroom furnishings; other equipment for the fluid handling; marble and natural stone; insulation thermal and acoustic; equipment for fire protection; machinery and vehicle construction; Tools; other machinery linked to construction; lifts and their components and accessories, or home automation.

In short, we speak of a very powerful industry, which in 2008 was represented by over 5,000 companies, with a total turnover of more than 46,000 million euros and generated nearly 500,000 jobs. Despite the fact that the landscape has changed in the course of the past two years, to be the materials of construction one of the sectors most directly affected by the fall of the building in Spain and the biddingstill has an important specific weight in the Spanish economy.

Precisely to boost activity in this area, have you thought about internationalization, as one of the best ways to deal with the difficult current economic climate, with a series of actions designed both to strengthen the strategies developed by companies that have already embarked on this roadas guidance for those that still had not raised until now go outside or had done so timidly.
