CONSTRUTEC 2008 is presented with high expectations of success

CONSTRUTEC 2008 kicks off with the excellent support of data captured in its 2006 Edition, which marked a new record of participation and consolidated the positive experience of the contest in recent years: 638 direct exhibitors (well above the 415 in 2002); 36.434 square metres NET (against the 16.286 hired two edits before), and 37.073 trade visitors (also higher than the 25.960 figure of 2002).

The growth of Construtec has motivated which incorporated a pavilion to the five who had been using until now, so the pageant takes place in the pavilions 2,4,5,6,8 and 10. This is a gross area of 85.800 square meters, which will make it possible to consolidate the path of growth of the living room.

Architects, builders, decorators, builders and other professionals in this sector are in Construtec to know the latest developments in information technology and automation applied to the construction, machinery and construction, locksmith, fireplaces, lifting and transport systems.

Architecture, protagonist in Construtec 2008

The architecture becomes a renewed prominence in the tenth edition of the Hall building, Construtec 2008. In particular, Feria de Madrid has enabled rooms N 105 and 106, in the center of conventions of its North Gate, to host the second International Congress of architecture, on 8 and 9 October, summoned by the Fundación Coam, of the official College of architects of Madrid which, precisely, coincides with its architecture week. The motto of this edition is: "Building the city of the future of the human scale to the territory".

This Congress wants to arouse the interest and the presence of the architecture and construction professionals that generate architecture in and of the twenty-first century, offering a focus of first order within the activities planned during the week of the architecture.

The Congress will feature conferences in which the work of architects which reflect the international scene of architecture, allows to put in evidence the global understanding of the system proyecto-ciudad we try to. So there are six teams of architects who presented their works in lectures.

After the conferences will be time for active discussions, which rotate around the proposals submitted, the large scale architectures and cities of today will discuss and will converge in the conclusions regarding new media town that facilitates the development of the new constructive means. These active debates will have as protagonists to the invited speakers and the audience.

On the occasion of the salon, the Spanish Technical Association of electroplating (ATEG) organized a technical session dedicated to 'Galvanized steel in the engineering and construction', addressed to technicians and professionals in engineering, architecture and construction in general.

On this day, held on 9 October in the premises of the Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I, outstanding specialists of research, industry and construction presented the main features of galvanized materials and more specific use of the same techniques. In addition, two prominent professional architecture, Carmen Espegel and Maria Florez, have some constructions that have played a significant role of galvanized materials.

The National Association of precast and derivatives of the cement (Andece) organizes and participates in a series of activities aimed at promoting the constructive solution offered by the precast concrete in Spain and Europe.

In addition, Lance for the fair offer 'asociaté'. The association participates and organizes several events during the days of the fair.

All planned events include the 2nd meeting of manufacturers of elements of prefabricated concrete on October 7, participation in the 'Execution of works of concrete' of the 9th day of the first edition of the 'awards of architecture with concrete blocks'also on day 9 of October, organized by Normabloc.

Aefam, the Spanish Association of manufacturers and lessors of buildings prefabricated modular, comes with its own Construtec stand. With their assistance, the Association aims to reinforce its image within the sector and to inform those companies, both Spanish and foreign, that have not yet contacted her.

Since its inception, in February 2007, Aefam has become the main meeting point for the sector, as well as its representative and partner with the different public and private bodies. In this sense, one of the current objectives of the Association is to promote a greater and better knowledge of modular constructions in the face of the different social agents. In other words, Aefam wants to raise awareness among the various actors in the market of the important role played by this type of buildings, at the same time which has made a commitment to boost the image of a sector in full growth in our country.

Currently the Association has thirteen members and continues with the doors open so that any lessor or manufacturer of modular prefabricated structures want you to join them. Indeed, today already exist other companies in portfolio that have applied for membership which is an example of the good reception that is taking the organization.
