ArcelorMittal introduced new products in Construtec 2008
The first product, the new indoor 'Arsolar', is made up of Silicon photovoltaic modules, mono or polycrystalline, integrated steel profiles for the formation of decks for tertiary buildings and industrial buildings.
The indoor Arsolar is available both in simple module, with a length of 1,495 mm and a maximum power of 130 Wp, as in double module length 2.990 mm and a maximum power of 260 Wp. The power obtained per square meter of deck is 75 WP. The use of different modules on an ongoing basis, allow form the cover with the uptake of energy required.
With a pending recommended minimum of 10 per cent you can adapt to different configurations being the most common on existing precast panel, tray or covered sandwich 'in situ' which includes a mineral insulation, or is presented as a simple skinprovided the building has a lower sufficient ventilation. Indoor Arsolar system includes a specific separator profile at its bottom, which allows lower ventilation. The photovoltaic outside face is the outer skin of the roof and guarantees the tightness of the building.
Ideal for new construction and rehabilitation
The connection of the photovoltaic modules is carried out during the Assembly of the cover and all the wiring and connection is hidden beneath the outer skin and protected both the atmospheric adversities and animals. At the same time, the cells will be connected to a battery in isolated facilities or an investor for the connection to the network and thus allow the sale of the energy produced.
The cover of steel enjoys a 60 microns coating that allows you to use in any type of environment and durability of at least 20 years.
ArcelorMittal construction puts at the disposal of the client tools, both for the design and dimensioning of the deck, as for the calculation of the energy generated.
The beam 'Angelina'
Its creators define this type of beams as the art of combining resistance, lightness and transparency. With its big lights, oblong, pleasant forms, and its soft geometry, 'Angelina' leaves full freedom to design and imagination beyond the usual constraints technicians.
This type of beams used the minimum amount of material to achieve a refined and light design. Optimize the heights of the buildings, the number of beams and pillars, the Foundation, and other physical constraints. In this way he manages to reduce the amount of steel in slabs of offices to less than 30 kg per square metre.
The decrease of weight and height, the optimization of the courts, as well as the reduction of the length of the welds significantly decrease the cost of the works.
The new range of ArcelorMittal beams integrates easily all kinds of necessary channels rectangular large in their sockets and even ventilation ducts (0, 6 m x 0, 4 m). An easy manufacture guarantee delivery just in time at work, and the speed and the ease of Assembly ensures a more flexible, economic and safe works
Adapted to all needs
Manufactured from profiles H o I by a longitudinal cut in the soul following a sinusoidal line and whose two parts in T each and they welded, 'Angelina' beam has a ridge equal to 1.5 times the singing of the source profile. In fact, from one or two basic profiles, beams 'Angelina' offer a multitude of different configurations that affect the distribution, form of the alveoli and distance between them.
This method of manufacture allows a precise setting of the edge of the beam and reduces losses during manufacture. To meet all their requirements, they are also available on request, specific finishing operations such as bending, the contraflechado or the manufacture of hybrid beams.
