Hörmann exceeds 1 billion euros in sales in 2006

In the logistics industry, equipment for loading and unloading have experienced great growth, while in the sector of industrial doors, the best-selling has been the SoftEdge quick opening and the industrial branch with built-in pedestrian door.
For Thomas j. Hörmann, General Manager of the company, the key to these results is the total adequacy of Hörmann products to the needs of the market. One of the reasons for this growth have been permanent investments of Hörmann in new stores and in the development and improvement of its production plants. In 2006, the German company opened a new store automated industrial doors in the city of Brockhagen, in Westphalia. He also invested in the plant's production of sectional doors in the city of Ichtershausen, near Erfurt.
