Gaia collaborates together with Egurlandua (Association of companies of 2º transformation of the wood) for the launching of the contest ‘Smart Wood Ecodesign' allocated to reward contributions that present a high value of innovation and conceptual investigation around the subjects proposed: Youngsters, Design, Wood and Sustainable Technology.

The contest launches thanks to the project Echo-Tablet funded by the Ministry of Industry, Power and Tourism of the Government of Spain inside the frame of the program Advances Competitiveness of R&D. The aim of the project is the realisation of a study of technical feasibility for the development of a factory for the production of an Echo-tablet respectful PC with the environingingment so that it fulfil with the characteristics of the ecological design.
