It continues the fall of production and consumption of cement in Spain

The data accumulated in the year 2012 launch a descent of 28,13% with regard to the same period of the past year. The figure accumulated in the year 2012 rises to 12.615.774 tonnes of cement produced, 4.938.826 t less than in the year 2011.
With regard to the national consumption, has diminished 37,90% in September of 2012 with regard to the same month of 2011, whereas it presents a descent accumulated of 34,63% in the year 2012 with regard to the previous year, with a total consumption of 10.609.513 t, 5.620.923 t less than in the year 2011.
On the other hand the exports increase 35,34% in the last 12 months and descend the imports, with a fall of 45,67% in the same period.

- From 2008 have disappeared 7.262 companies of the sector.
- The September, registered near of 26.000 compraventas of houses, with an annual increase of 0,9%.
