The ITC and Aidico work in the aprovechamiento of heat of ventilated faã§ades

The constructive solution of the ventilated façade comes imposing from does some time in the edificación current. Analyse the feasibility of the aprovechamiento of the available power in the ventilated camera of a closing like support to the system of ventilation / air conditioning of a building is the fundamental aim of a project that are developing the Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC), and Aidico, the technological Institute of the Construction, both members of Redit, with the support of the Impiva and the Bottoms Feder of Regional Development.

According to sources of the ITC: “between the different typologies of ventilated cameras that could take advantage of , possibly the simplest was the ventilated façade; therefore, the project will centre in this solution. So much from Aidico as from the ITC have wide experience in the energetic study of the ventilated façade, and has showed that reduces the demand of refrigeration of the building because it allows to evacuate hot air. However, this same hot air could use , as we have indicated previously, to reduce the demand of heating”. As they have explained the researchers, inside the project, in the first place, will define a series of buildings type, residential and tertiary, as well as the systems of air conditioning / necessary ventilation to be able to take advantage of this hot air.

Ventilated façade.

The typology of building, and in particular the differentiation between residential and tertiary, is very important since it conditions appearances like the internal loads or the ventilation. The air entered in the building by the system of ventilation could precalentarse with help of the ventilated camera. Another option would consist in using the air of the camera like cold focus of a bomb of heat, increasing with this his COP, like this designated by the acronyms of the English Coefficient of Performance. In the actuality does not know of any program of evaluation of energetic efficiency in edificación that contemplate the incorporation of a ventilated camera like which proposes in this project in which it takes advantage of the heat of his interior; thus, it will develop a module that simulate the thermal sensors behaviour of the camera, and that it can be joined up to a program of evaluation of efficiency to scale of building.

With the program will be able to determine the reduction in demand of heating and the reduction in the consumption of the building, in function of the equipment of air conditioning used. They will llevar simulations using the module developed, for the different buildings types and different climatic zones, determining the reduction in the demand and consumption of heating. Finally it will evaluate the cost of investment and maintenance required to implement this solution so much in new buildings as in rehabilitation. This information, together with the energetic consumption, will allow to evaluate the feasibility of the aprovechamiento of the hot air; all this in function of the typology of building, orientation and climatic zone.
