The autonomic managers of roads look for solutions in front of the fault of resources of the sector

Chaired in this occasion by the general director of Roads and Infrastructures of the Board of Castile and Leon, Luis Alberto Solís, the Table has debated like subject prioritario the need of consensuar effective measures that allow rentabilizar to the maximum the scarce existent resources and llevar the performances of conservation and maintenance that the road network needs. And in this context, has treated of special form the state of the conventional roads.

The meeting has had the presence of the general director of Traffic of the Home Office, María Followed, the one who has manifested the worry of the DGT by the accidentalidad in the roads of second order. In spite of the remarkable descent of accidents and mortal victims in our roads, the conventional network keep on being the one who presents the worst figures and, thus, considers that his optimum conservation is a decisive step to improve the hygiene of the users.

On the other hand, the participants in the Table have debated also on possible alternative formulas of financials for the roads, like the payment by use, as well as of the opportunities that can offer the public collaboration–deprived in the current context.
