They create the first device that would reduce to the half the deaths by dump of agricultural machinery
The first electronic device that alerts in front of situations of risk and, in consequence, warns possible accidents by dump of agricultural machinery, did not arise overnight. Raúl Reina, commercial director of the company cordobesa Agro-industrial Technological Development (DTA), situated in the Technological Scientific Park of Córdoba, explains us step by step the process that would originate the current Inclisafe. “The first studies, three years backwards, developed by means of the collaboration of the School of Engineers Agronomists and Mountains of the University of Córdoba, the Group of Investigation AGR126, and the company DTA EBT, S.L. Studies that were funded by the Andalusian Agency of Environingingment and Water of the Board of Andalucia with an amount of 80.000 euros”. In the course of these works studied the causes of dump of the tractor showing the incidence of the speed and other factors in addition to the inclination. “Also they calculated the dynamic characteristics of the accidents by dump”, adds.
Main factors of risk to avoid
In Spain, 70% of the accidents by vuelcos of agricultural machinery, especially tractor trucks, are mortal. In our country, the number of operarios and/or producers that lose the life in an event of this type is of 80 annual victims, although this figure could shorten “like minimum to the half” with the implantation of the device antivuelco Inclisafe in the own tractor, as they ensure from the DTA.
The signature cordobesa has developed an electronic device, already patented, that measures the inclination and determines the stability of the machine in which it plants , according to the type of terrain and movement. The inclisafe acts of preventive form. The second factor of risk, in opinion of Raúl Reina, is the speed. “A same manoeuvre can be safe to 3 kms/h, dangerous to 6 and of high risk to 10 kms/h. Like general criterion, satisfied increase the speed diminishes the degree of slope by which the tractor can circulate and to the reverse”.
Potholes or obstacles constitute another factor of risk, quite significant. How it works

In these moments, the company finds in negotiations with companies of Canada, Japan and United States, for like this distribute this device in his zones of influence. The implantation on a large scale, to which pretend to arrive, will go of the hand of the information to the final user and of the awareness of the gravity of this type of accident”, concludes.
