New gondola bed semirrebajada in Bauma
July 2, 2010
The transfer of agricultural machinery is a complicated task because the dimensions and weights of harvesters, tractors or packing. Road transport must take into account numerous factors, such as restrictive legislation, weather conditions or the vehicle used for this purpose: the truck platform or gondolas. Since the first gondolas of cut-price bed of oscillating shaft in 1953, the gondolas of cut-price bed of Nooteboom have marked trend in Europe and elsewhere. Many major advances introduced by the Dutch company have been adopted by many other manufacturers.
Currently, Nooteboom has a wide range of shelves of cut-price bed, which have between 2 and 11 axes of power steering, with a maximum of up to 90 tons payload. The cut-price bed Euro Nooteboom gondolas are used to transport, for example, machines of excavation, machinery of caterpillars, ships, wheel loaders with wheels, boats, combined harvesters and machinery components. The authorized maximum weight (WFP) is 134 tons to 80 km/hour for the longest gondola of cut-price bed combination. The conventional platform is fitted standard with power steering and hydraulic suspension (optional air suspension). This guarantees maximum maneuverability and confines itself to the minimum tyre wear. The shelves of cut-price bed are available in various configurations. There are versions of 2 to 5 axes, with 2.540 and 2,740 millimetres wide, and also a wide selection of soils in load. The height of the train's rolling varies from 860 millimetres (2 axes) to 1,040 mm (5 axes), ensuring that there is always a distance enough ground to be able to move in rough terrain. The gondola of bed reduced with 2 axes and extra short rolling train is equipped with series with extra short rolling gear that offers more than 50 cm in length additional net of soil of load, while maintaining the same overall length. Despite its compact design, remains the broad and deep groove along all the train's rolling. To facilitate loading of self-propelled machines, rolling train is extremely low and has folding ramps front and rear. Aluminium ramps may engage in the section integrated with either the from or to the front and rear.
MCO-PX presented at Bauma
Taking advantage of his presence in Bauma 2010, Nooteboom has presented its latest advances and innovations for heavy and special transport. Among them are the new Quatro Telestep, gondel of bed floor tilt axis PX2 with the new ICP Interdolly and new Megatrailer OSD. One of the top attractions of the Dutch manufacturer has been the world premiere of the gondolas of MCO PX semirrebajada bed. The design and components of the MCO-PX are based on the nacelle of bed low PX2, with the same advantages.
In recent months, Nooteboom has analysed different versions of prototypes of the MCO-PX with several clients in various European countries. As a result, the gondola's most versatile semirrebajada bed of the brand has been created. The MCO-PX is currently available from three to eight lines of axes and 2,520, 2,740 and 2.990 mm widths. There is the option of fixed cargo beds or with one, two or three extensions. The MCO-PX is also available with a distance between axes of 1,360 or 1.510 mm and with tires in size 245 and 285, as required.
High payload capacity
Height of bed load, axes and rotation travel
The proposal of Goldhofer
Goldhofer AG, with 600 employees, is one of the leading providers of trailers, semitrailers, transportation of heavy loads and tugs of aircraft systems. So far, the specialist for heavy loads has delivered 32,000 systems of portering heavy at more than 70 countries around the world. As leading provider of technology of heavy transport presents a semi-trailer with cut-price bed type STZ-VP with tilting axes, that with a shorter vehicle manages to combine a high payload with a greater mobility. "Because of that we have been able to reduce the weight considerably, get an advantage of more than 2 tons of payload per line of axis in comparison with a vehicle air suspension", says Stefan Fuchs, executive director of the company.
The chassis of the vehicle has, depending on the version, a deep hole for blades of excavators up 860 millimetres in width. Goldhofer presented at Bauma 2010 an example of its new generation of semi-trailers. A model of 4-axis type STZ-L4 raises the demand for an efficient vehicle for transport of machinery up to 44 tonnes. The vehicle has a height of cargo of low of 785 mm, telescopic extensions and a new rear.
