A lifting front of Valtra wins silver medal for innovation in Agritechnica 2007

In the new lift front directional LHLINK Valtra, levelling of the arms, one on the other hand, can be brought also vertically. The capacity of the LHLINK of Valtra is 3.5 tonnes.
These innovative technical solutions provide the arms of the elevator a degree of freedom considerably greater, making easier the connection of implements at the time that increase the security.
A front elevator which revolves in relation to the front wheels is a great advantage when it snagged mowers or combinations of front and rear tools, for example. The lift front of Valtra can turn a mower in its entire width within a turning radius of 10 meters. This is possible because the instrument applied geometry of rotation of Ackermann, where a line drawn from the implement crosses a line drawn from the rear wheels at the same point that the lines drawn from the front wheels.
With four ways to control for the adjustment of the twists
There are four ways to control for the adjustment of the turns of the forward elevator. In the first mode, the front elevator turns completely independent of the front wheels. In the second mode the front elevator revolves in relation to the front wheels, and the relationship between the angle of rotation of the riser striker and the angle of rotation of the wheels can be infinitely adjusted. The response to the half of the range of adjustment is to 50 percent, so that an angle of rotation of the direction of 35 degrees front lift revolves to 17.5 degrees. A 1: 1 the angle of rotation of the front elevator is just like the of the front wheels in all 35 degrees of course, that is the maximum the lift front swing radius in both directions.
In the third mode the front elevator worked in as well as in the previous, but the central position of the elevator forward can vary in both directions. The fourth mode is specially engineered to work with combinations of front and rear mowers, allowing the front elevator turn even more than the front wheels.
This range of settings eliminate the overlaps and offers high-quality work. The same principle of rotation applies to the work of municipalities with implements type machines sweepers. When the plough is the radius of rotation of the tractor are generated less lateral loads in it. The flexible front elevator does not restrict the operation of the TDF, in any case universal joints are located near the point of pilotage.
The position of the arms is adjustable hydraulically one on the other, time in which blocks of hydraulic form. There is no bar in torsion between the arms, which saves space. The cylinders are equipped with sensors that transmit the position to the electronic control unit.
The front elevator Valtra LHLINK, designed for the N series, has been developed together with one of the most important Finnish suppliers of equipment, LH Lift Oy, and Afcon Oy, a company of technological development agriculture and forestry.
