The Irta celebrates a seminar on marketing of oils of high range that will have continuity

The commercialisation of oils ‘of high range' has positioned like an alternative to the market generalista of oil of virgin olive. Nevertheless, because of the level of saturation and low prices of the national market, these oils have to orient to the external market. These markets, generally, ask complementary information on the characteristics and origin of the oil, that goes further of the mere commercial classification, the country or the variety. This Seminar has contributed diverse information on the oil of virgin olive in his markets of origin, to use it in strategies of positioning of product 'of high range'.
In the seminar participated representatives of 25 companies of the sector, pertinent of Catalonia, Aragon, Valencian Community and Andalucia, in addition to technicians of the Irta, Damm, and of Prodeca of the Council of Agriculture of the Government of Catalonia. Given the success achieved and that the assessment of the same by part of the participants has resulted very positive, the Irta poses realise future editions of the seminar.
