Cenfim Creates a network of cooperation to improve the sustainability of the companies of the sector of the wood and the piece of furniture

Cenfim —Centre of Difusió Technological of the Fusta i the Moble of Catalonia— has created a network of cooperation for the improvement of the sustainability of the companies of the sector of the wood and of the piece of furniture inside the project approved by the Foundation Biodiversidad in the frame of the Program empleaverde. This program has by aim generate and improve the employment, increasing the competitions and the qualification of the workers, supporting the creation and promoting the sustainability of the economic activities.

The thematic that treats the network is the sustainability in the wooden companies and piece of furniture that engloba subjects eat: ecodiseño, better environingingmental practices in production, materials with environingingmental characteristics improved, waste management, implantation of systems of environingingmental management, environingingmental communication …and in definite any appearance that can influence in the minimisation of the environingingmental impact produced by the activity of these companies and the increase of his competitiveness by means of ecoinnovación.

The main aim of the network is to exchange information and boost the set up of of actions and projects of cooperative R&D that allow to improve the situation regarding environingingmental sustainability of the companies of the sector of the wood and of the piece of furniture.

Will be able to form part of this network of collaboration:

• technological Centres of the piece of furniture and the wood of the national territory
• Directors, technicians and professionals of the sector of the piece of furniture and the wood
• Designers and interioristas interested in improving the sustainability of his products/services
• Professional that wish to purchase an overview of the application of sustainable processes
• Responsible and technicians of production that wish to know the advantages that contributes the application of the sustainable production
• In general companies and workers of the sector, that are interested in developing new innovative and sustainable technicians.
