IFEPA, the Palace of Fairs and Exhibitions of the Region of Murcia incorporates a new event to his calendar ferial: the first edition of Spanish Food & Wine Market. It treats of a contest that, for the first time, crosses borders, and whose stage will be the city londinense.
An event thought for the small and average producers of all Spain organised, jointly, by IFEPA and the company Global Expo, Ltd. Spanish Food & Wine Market Will celebrate of the 17 to 20 November 2012 in the emblematic Old Billingsgate of London, situated in Thames Street.
Treats of an authentic ‘Farmer's Market' where a selection of companies of all the autonomous communities Spaniards will show and will give to know, through catas, his different products. In Spain exist more than 30.000 companies in the sector agroalimentario. In this sense, foresees have 300 companies that represent the best products of all Spain. “The aim –as it explained the president of Global Expo, Ltd., Sol Gutiérrez– is to help to the Spanish small and medium enterprises of the sector agroalimentario and gastronomic to promote his sales, positioning them favorablemente, in the external market British”.
According to Gutiérrez, “from does some years in Spain can be proud to be one of the best world-wide gastronomies. Already we were decades backwards a big power by variety of products and flavours and in spite of the crisis that live at present, the feeding and the wines represent a so important industry like the tourism and that has a lot of capacity to export”.
