Valtra makes further investments in the individual service customer

The factory of Suolahti (Finland) has modernised in recent years with investments amounting to tens of millions of euros. Currently a new investment of EUR 23 million for the manufacture of a new painting line and for the modernisation of the beginning of the Assembly line is planned. New production systems to increase productivity, which will make it possible to reduce delivery times and increase profitability. The new factory will allow Valtra to provide their even more custom tractors, for example, a wider range of forest machines can be installed in factory. In General, new investment will increase the capacity of the factory to manufacture tractors faster and in greater quantity, as well as provide tractors that are tailored more precisely to the needs of customers.
AGCO is also investing in technological systems and enterprise resource planning, and methods of work. The Valtra in Suolahti plant is paving the way in this project. About 100 people are working on it full time since 18 months ago. This investment of more than 20 million euros is aimed at improving productivity in Valtra and to develop cooperation within the Agco group.
